Hello, I’m Cecile Roca.
I’m a UX Architect and Senior User Experience Designer based in New York City. I specialize in turning complex, chaotic systems into calm, compliant, and intuitive experiences. Because my career evolved through law, international business development, and an MFA in Design and Technology, I approach product architecture by balancing strict logic and regulatory constraints with business strategy and deep human empathy.
Most recently, I’ve been designing high-stakes software for AI, insurance, and financial services with Synechron. I specialize in information architecture and executive facilitation, running high-velocity validation sprints to solve corporate bottlenecks, map workflows, and secure executive funding. I don't just design screens; I design the structural frameworks that make complex corporate platforms feel effortless.
Before shifting to digital software, I spent years creating award-winning, interactive physical-digital experiences at Gallagher & Associates and Rockwell Group. Designing for major museums across the USA and ecosystems like the Hudson Yards sales center trained me to map human behavior and design for incredibly diverse audiences.
When I’m not designing, I look for that same focus by cooking regional world cuisines, training in Muay Thai, and singing as a mezzo-soprano in chorus groups.
If you need a strategic partner who can navigate corporate complexity and bridge the gap between engineering, business, and law, let's connect at cecile@cecileroca.com.
