I collaborated with Lucas Vickers on the creation of Identity. I was involved in the conceptualization and hands-on fabrication, and installation of this piece.
‘Identity’ exists as a sculptural wall relief that utilizes computer monitors, computer cameras, as well as custom software.
The visual aesthetic of the work helps to expose the inherent unreliability and unpredictability of our technologically advanced society, in an attempt to further a dialog regarding the level of trust society places into potentially flawed technologies.
